Mankato Area Hockey Association

Our primary goal is to provide skaters with a healthy, safe, environment and a team sports experience. Nearly all of the hockey players selected for the Mankato High School Varsity and Junior Varsity teams developed their skills in MAHA programs.

Dear Association Members,

The MAHA Board of Directors is proud to announce that we have appointed Tom Christenson to head hockey operations.  Tom has extensive experience directing on-ice operations.  He filled this role for five years prior to stepping down four years ago to focus on his boys' hockey careers and provide leadership for District 4, where he is currently the president and coordinator for the east district.

Tom is excited to return to MAHA and is a source of strength for our association.  He is currently forming the hockey operations committee and together, they will establish our on-ice programs.  Tom will also serve as our District 4 representative where he will voice our concerns and campaign on behalf of MAHA.  We will have more information on Tom and the hockey operations committee in upcoming newsletters and website releases.
