Tom Cusey - Head Coach

Tom is in his fourth year coaching hockey, and second year coaching in MAHA. Tom comes to us from Grand Rapids where he was part of a rich hockey tradition, and furthered his hockey career playing at Itasca Community College. A detective for the Mankato Police Department, Tom is married with two kids (both in MAHA), Tom also coaches MAGFA softball when he is not hunting or involved in hockey.

Ryan Riebel - Assistant Coach

A Mankato native, Ryan grew up in MAHA, ultimately playing for the Cougars. Though in his first year of coaching hockey, Ryan has been coaching lacrosse in Mankato for two years. Ryan is currently employed at ADM in town where he serves as a lab tech. In his spare time he likes to do pretty much anything outdoors, but cites skiing, snowboarding, playing guitar, and sky diving as some of his favorites. Ryan is currently a student at MSU where he is studying to be a math teacher.

Taylor Wallace - Assistant Coach

A native of Mankato, Taylor has played 17 years in town, including his time at Mankato West High School. Taylor is in his first year of coaching in MAHA, and has been a referee in the sport for many years...mainly reffing at the high school level. Taylor is employed at Peters Lawn Service, and enjoys spending time on the golf course in the Summer.

Jeremy Bundy - Assistant Coach

A Mankato East graduate, Ryan is in his first year coaching in MAHA. Jeremy is currently employed at Kato Light in town, and he enjoys playing men's league hockey in his spare time. During Jeremy's time playing at East, he was a member of the Minnesota Selects, as well as the Wells Fargo SouthEast team.

Tom Woodside - Head coach

An Albert Lea native (we won't hold that against him), Tom is currently in his 8th year of coaching within the MAHA program. A past member of the Hockey Operation's Committee, Tom also has a son playing at Mankato East, as well as a daughter. Tom is a speech/language pathologist for the Mankato Public Schools and enjoys taking part in Men's league hockey here in town. In his spare time Tom enjoys fishing, camping, biking, hiking, and hunting. Tom's outside coaching interests also include baseball and softball.

Eric Boelter - Assistant Coach

A Lakeville native, Eric is employed at Community Bank in Mankato as a mortgage lender. While playing high school hockey in Lakeville, Eric also took part in Golf, Cross Country, and Track. Eric is a MSU graduate and enjoys hunting, traveling, and taking part in triathlons in his spare time.

Pat Lenton - Assistant Coach
