Mankato Area Hockey Association

The Girls Initiation Program (IP) was designed to give girls in Mankato the opportunity to get a taste of the sport without making a full fledged commitment. Girls are given the opportunity to skate a few sessions for free, and to then sign up for the remainder of the season if they wish. Check out the flyer below for more information.

MAHA is trying, for the first time in it's history, an all-girls Mite team for the 2007-2008 season. This is comprised of girls between the ages of 6-8 who have finished both 1st and 2nd year mini mites. This group will continue to skate with the boys, play against the boys, and have all of the same regulations as the boys, but will skate in practice with only girls.
