MAHA 2006 - 2007 Equipment Rental Program

The purpose of the MAHA rental program is to offer an affordable alternative to all participants in need, through the rental of skates and helmets.

DATES

The standard rental period is one year on all equipment, dependant upon when the equipment is rented. MAHA provides an equipment turn in/rental/assessment period three times a year for the convenience of our participants as follows:

MAHA provides this opportunity for rental/turn in/assessment in coordination with registration. All members who are unable to make the June session, as well as all new members of the association, can rent/turn in/assess their equipment at this time. If your seasonal fee for the upcoming year was not paid at the June session, you will be asked to pay your fee for the upcoming calendar year at this session. Keep an eye out for specific dates and times as the session nears.

 Notes:  

All equipment must be turned in for assessment each year, whether your intention is to re-rent it or not. It is imperative that MAHA is provided the opportunity to look over the equipment to assure its safety yearly. If you wish to keep your current equipment from season to season, MAHA does ask that you bring it to the rental sessions, get it checked and inventoried, and you will be able to re-rent your equipment on the spot as long as you pay your new yearly fee.

Eligibility/Rates

Helmets are available for rental to all MAHA participants at the Mini Mite, Mite, Squirt, and U10 level. Due to safety issues MAHA does not provide helmets for players in the Peewee/U12 and Bantam U14 programs.

Cost for helmet rental is $15 per year.

Rental period is for one calendar year from the time of rental, in either June or September.

Skates are available for rental to all MAHA participants from a size 6 and below, regardless of age level. Due to the need for custom skates at the larger sizes, as well as sizing issues, MAHA does not provide skates for players in sizes bigger then 6.

Cost for skate rental is $25 per year.

Rental period is for one calendar year from the time of rental, in either June or September.

Goalie equipment is available to all MAHA participants in need. There is no age restriction on the goalie equipment, but the pricing is age sensitive:

 

Mini Mites/Mites     Free of charge

Girls and Squirts     Free of charge

Peewees and Bantams     $50 per season

*NOTE -Goalie pricing/fees WILL CHANGE for the 2005-2006 season with details to follow in the summer of 2005.

Skates and helmets are subject to their individual policies as stated above.

Miscellaneous

Exchanges for size or quality of equipment can be done at any time during your yearly rental contract. Simply contact either of the equipment contacts to set up a time to do so. Exchanges are done at no charge as long as you are under your one year contract for rental.

Special needs opportunities are available for participants of MAHA who may need assistance in order to outfit themselves with equipment.
